Yes, it is true when they say ‘There is nothing like the Great Outdoors’.
It is amazing what a nice long walk outside in the open and fresh air can do for you. It might be just what you need for a sense of calmness and mood improvement. Enjoying some time in a nature environment can even help you reduce anxiety levels and promote relaxation in a healthy way.
There is nothing like a breath of fresh air!
Spending time outside is a great way for you to get exercise in without even thinking about it.
Some people give up on exercising because they tried the gym or treadmill and decided it is not for them and quit shortly after. Before you get to that point of just giving up, explore what kind of exercise it is you like and enjoy, and try and stay active that way. If the gym is not the place that will keep you motivated to continue and stay active, consider taking that walk outside and breath in some fresh air. Enjoy what nature offers, after all…it is free!

Now, if walking is not the thing for you and you prefer Yoga or Aerobics, you can still freshen up your workout by taking it outside, whether in a park or just simply your garden, the benefits is great. You can even enjoy it while looking at a nice sun set or sun rise. Now who says fitness can’t be beautiful too?
There is so many activities we can enjoy outdoors and get a nice workout in. Another thing I like, is working in the garden, you feel great and don’t even realize how much effort you put into it, and besides it makes those feel good hormones rise even more after you see the results of what you accomplished in your garden.
Let’s get those fingers dirty!
Remember the most important thing is, that you enjoy staying active and keeping your body healthy and fit!
