WATERMELON BENEFITS WHILE PREGNANT:

Watermelon the refreshing fruit!
This juicy delight is great for heartburn and morning sickness. If you’re pregnant and you’re suffering from morning sickness, watermelon is great to elevate that queezy feeling.
During my 3rd pregnancy I found this to be one of the most soothing foods to consume when I feel nauseated or get that acid reflex that leaves an uncomfortable burning sensation.
Watermelon has a high water content and can help keep you hydrated, especially if you suffer from severe morning sickness such as I do. The high amount of water in this delightful melon can also aid in helping your digestive system and reduce swelling. Oh and how this light water base fruit is both soothing and refreshing, leaving you feeling much more content.

Watermelon the official healthy snack!
There is so many ways you can introduce watermelon into your healthy pregnancy eating plan. Adding it to a salad or making a healthy smoothie from it is just two of the many ways you experiment with this fruit. For drinks try and make a healthy Fresca or even infused water. Organic watermelon sherbet or organic home-made popsicles can also be a great delight you can try. A delicious fruit salad containing this melon can be both beneficial for you and your growing baby and don’t forget to try a nice cool watermelon slushy. It’s always a great beverage to freshen oneself up.
