Healthy honey roasted carrots is a great add on to any meal and the whole family can enjoy it. These yummy carrots are so easy to prepare and it is great to quiet that sweet tooth.
Roasted carrots can be a great delight when you are craving something sweet with your meal and want to stay healthy!
10 carrots (peeled or unpeeled)
6 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Slice the carrots lengthwise and place into a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and mix well until the carrots are completely covered with olive oil. Pour the honey on the carrots and season with cinnamon evenly. Spread carrots out in a single layer and not stacked on each other.
Bake in the preheated oven until your desired taste for about 40 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
